Kidtropolis is the children’s ministry program here at Newport Mesa Church. We are focused on partnering with families by equipping and empowering parents to be the primary spiritual leaders of their children, while creating environments where kids discover God and experience the Holy Spirit!

Junior and Teen Bible Quiz – JBQ & TBQ

8:45 am  1st Grade – High School

Junior Bible Quiz is a weekly class offered during the 8:45 am service for all students – 1st through 6th grade.  Teen Bible Quiz team is  for middle and high school. Royal Rangers

Boys (K-12th Grade) gather weekly for a Christian scouting program that is led by mature, trained leaders. Our focus is on learning about God, building relationships, and outdoor fun. Beyond our weekly meeting, there are many adventurous activities throughout the year. For more info on the Royal Rangers national program, CLICK HERE.

Brave Hearts

Girls (K-12th Grade) come together weekly for fun and outdoor adventure in a quest for God’s love, wisdom, and gifts. Our mission is to mentor and build confidence in young women through Christ-centered relationships, small group bible studies, development of life skills, and fun activities. For more info on the Brave Hearts program, CLICK HERE.


Boys and Girls (Entering Kindergarten) Rainbows meet Wednesday evenings in the Kindergarten Room. Children will have the opportunity to learn God’s Word in a fun, club-like atmosphere.  Sick Policy

We want to keep your little ones happy and healthy! We adhere to strict guidelines in order to ensure good health for both our children and staff. We ask parents to keep their children at home or in adult church if they are showing signs of illness such as discolored mucus or fever.

Safety Policy

All employees and volunteers are subjected to a mandatory screening process which includes a complete application, employment/personal references, an interview, background check, and mandatory training.

Opportunities to Serve

  • Parent Co-op Come spend time in one of our classrooms and get the chance to play an important role in your child’s spiritual formation. We ask that our parents service once a month.
  • Early Childhood If you love working with kids, consider joining our volunteer team. We’re always in need of huggers, storytellers, small group leaders, and worship leaders.
  • Elementary Volunteers Do you enjoy investing in young lives? Join our team as a small group leader, worship team musician, welcome crew, or a/v tech.
  • Special Friends Ministry Assist one of our special needs children as they participate in worship and learn about God.
  • Resource Help Organize, restock, and maintain resources that are used throughout the week. Scheduled individually.
