“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
Taking the gospel to the world is the commission that Jesus gave us before He ascended into Heaven.  We focus on bringing the life-saving message of Jesus to our local community.  Our desire is to share the good news of Christ with people and bring them into the family of Newport Mesa Church.

Thanksgiving Outreach Dinner
November 28, 2-5 PM

The Thanksgiving dinner is a collaboration of our church and small group communities.
We provide a dinner for those in our church and local communities who are looking for a place to celebrate. Some of our Small Groups volunteer to assist these areas; setup, cleanup, table hosts, food donations, food preparation, transportation, decorations, and serving. This day is designed to show love to those who need us to be their family for the day and is open to seniors, college students, and anyone in our church and local community. Transportation is provided if needed.

Feed the Hungry
Second Saturdays
Feed the Hungry is a FREE FOOD program for seniors, singles, and low income families for the cities of Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. We distribute a variety of items from canned food, produce, bread, clothes, furniture and the word of Jesus Christ. Over 40,000 pounds of food and around 2000 people are fed, clothed and assisted every month. Since 1988, this ministry has been committed to feeding the hungry in body, mind and spirit. Qoheleth Ministries is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation and offers tax-deductibles to people that donate to this ministry.

Join us every second Saturday of the month on the corner of Fair Drive and Newport Blvd. in the church parking lot. Due to the nature of our events, we encourage our guests to check regularly on our website for any time and location changes due to weather related or other circumstances. Thank you.

Prayer Quilts for Royal Family Kids Campers
January 18, 9 AM - 12:30 PM
Several Times a Year

The mission of Loving Ties is to provide a tangible covering of prayer which will provide comfort and be a constant reminder to each recipient that they are cherished and loved by God and his people. Each quilt is an affirmation of our faith in God’s power to comfort, strengthen, and heal.

We assemble quilts for all the campers and new counselors for Royal Family Kids Camp. That's over 100 quilts! To make this happen, we have several "quilt-a-thons" a year specifically for the blankets for RFKC. Please join us. Sewing experience is not required! Lots of fun, fellowship and snacks!

ROYAL FAMILY KIDS CAMP - SUMMER 2020
Royal Family Kids Camp gives foster children ages 6-12 a week of positive memories and royal treatment in a Christian Camp environment.
There are several ways for you to get involved, either behind the scenes by becoming a camp counselor or mentor, or through fundraising opportunities.

Please check out one of the ways listed below where you can be part of one of the best weeks of the year in a child’s life.
  • Help with camper registration on Monday morning the week of camp.
  • “Everyone’s Birthday Party” on Wednesday at camp. Help is needed with games, face painting, bounce houses and more. Carpooling  available.
  • Welcome Home Dinner on Friday when the counselors and volunteers return from camp.

A tangible way to help a camper is to provide a pool bag with a towel and water shoes.  At the end of camp, each camper will get to take this home with them. Please stop by the RFKC table on the patio on Sunday mornings (about a month before camp starts) to get a supplies list for one of the campers. Thank you for making a difference in the life of a child!
