Sundays @ 56

10:30 am | Lower Level in Pier 56

This is a high energy setting for preteens with godly leaders who love working with kids and leading them to Christ through Bible study, thoughtful discussion, engaging games, intentional relationship building time, student leadership, and more.

Preteens are placed into age/gender based groups with leaders who stay with them for the two years they are in 56.  Mentoring is the focus of these leaders as they get to know and interact with the kids.

If you have any questions about 56, feel free to contact the 56 Coordinator, Matt Noble.  We meet on the lower level in the Pier 56 Room.

THE PLACES OF EASTER (Mar 24 – Apr 21)

A four-week series that explores the locations that are important to the Easter Story and what we can learn from them. The fifth week in the series is actually Easter Sunday, and we will not be having 56 but instead, we will be celebrating Easter with our families. There will be three services: 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:30 am.

WEEK 1: THE GARDEN

Bible: Matthew 26:36-46; Luke 22:43, 44

Bottom Line: Praying is our way of communicating with God, and good communication involves taking time to listen instead of just talking.

WEEK 2: THE COURT

Bible: Matthew 26:57-68; Luke 22:54; Matthew 27:1, 11-24; Romans 12:19

Bottom Line: It really hurts when people lie about us, but we don’t have to feel alone because Jesus understands.

WEEK 3: THE CROSS

Bible: Mark 15:16-39; Matthew 27:51; Luke 23:39-43; Galatians 6:2; Psalm 22:18

Bottom Line: Trials are never easy to bear, but Jesus was willing to bear the cross and the shame that came with it.  We have to carry our crosses, too, and we have Him to help us.

WEEK 4: THE TOMB

Bible: Matthew 28:1-10; Matthew 27:57-66; John 20:6-9; Romans 10:9

Bottom Line: Jesus defeated death and the grave just like He promised, so we can trust Him to keep His promises to us.

WEEK 5: FAMILY SERVICE IN THE MAIN WORSHIP CENTER (No 56 Today)

Three Service Times: 8:00 am; 9:30 am and 11:30 am

Activities: Water Baptism 10:20 am and 12:20 pm; Egg Hunts & Activities 10:30 am. Bring a friend!
