Brave Hearts is made up of three levels, Little Hearts (K-1st grade), Discovery Hearts (2nd-4th grade), and Adventure Hearts (5th-8th grade).
Projects and adventures throughout the year include Marshmallow Fun Night, Christmas Caroling, Pinewood Derby Car Competition, Diva or “Spa”/Pajama Night, and Rawhide Ranch, equestrian weekend camp. Your daughter must be 7 years old to attend Rawhide Ranch.
Each session begins with a craft. The purpose of the craft is to provide an activity for the girls to have fun while other girls are still arriving. At 4:15 the craft time is wrapped up and all the Brave Hearts come together for Opening Ceremonies. Following the Opening Ceremony, we split into individual age groups (Little Hearts, Discovery Hearts, and Adventure Hearts) and move through the planned activities for the evening.
While Brave Hearts incorporates lots of fun activities, Bible study is emphasized as well as scripture memorization in our small group Bible studies. The groups are small, making it easier for each girl to participate in discussions. The small group sessions always end in a circle of prayer with the goal to help teach the girls how to pray for their friends’ and their family’s needs. And to teach them about the power of prayer and that their prayers do make a difference. At the heart and core of the program is the goal to see every girl moving toward a deep relationship with Jesus Christ.
