Royal Rangers | Outpost 33

Join us on Wednesdays | 6:30-8/8:30 pm

Royal Rangers is a mentoring ministry for future men, providing Christlike character formation and servant leadership development for boys and young men in a highly relational and fun environment. The Royal Ranger mission is to evangelize, equip, and empower the next generation of Christlike men and lifelong servant leaders.

A typical night for Discovery Rangers and up consists of gathering together for pledges, prayer, and announcements and we then split into patrols where each patrol will take the role and collect dues. We meet in our respective groups for the Bible lesson, go outside for play (our games are fun and promote team building) and last we work on our featured merit.

We ask that each Ranger comes on time, in uniform, with Bible, Handbook, pencil, and dues. A uniform can be as little as an Outpost T-shirt. We do however encourage our Rangers to purchase a utility shirt and an awards vest for our monthly all group and when we serve at our Church or community.

Our Commanders take training classes that are offered through the national, district or the division every year.

You can also obtain additional information at the national website and check out our outpost FACEBOOK page.

Imagine a camping experience that is very close to home and all you need to do is show up. If you are not a camper we will teach you. If you need help setting up your tent we can assist. If you don’t have a tent we have loaners.

It’s a fun easy camp with great food, lots of fun activities and crafts. We will have two crafts and possibly a field trip.

We’ll have a wonderful time bonding together as we sit around the campfire worshipping God and hearing his word.

Things to bring: Tent, Sleeping bag and camp chair (we have some to loan). Toiletries (no showers available), Good appetite and a good attitude.
